4.2 Understanding the WHO, WHAT, and WHEN of the Assessment
Who assesses a project, what do they look at, and when? This lesson answers these three questions.
You’ll see why more voices make assessment more authentic, and why involving students is so valuable: when they assess their own work and their classmates’, assessment itself becomes learning. You’ll also find out what you can assess, from subject knowledge to teamwork and critical thinking, and the four key moments to do it: before, during, at the end and after the project.
One golden rule: students can’t reach a goal they don’t understand. So make your criteria clear from the start!
