1.1 Basic Ingredients

What does every PBL need? This lesson looks at the ingredients one by one.

Students are at the center of the work. They face an authentic issue that matters to them, starting from an open question that makes them want to find out more. Along the way, they create something original, like a campaign, a prototype or a video, and present it to a real audience: parents, other classes or the local community.

Keep these ingredients in mind: you’ll need all of them for your own project!
