2.1 The Topic of your PBL
Where do good project ideas come from? Not from improvisation, but from the right mix of three things: your curriculum, something real and relevant for your students, and your own skills and passions.
This lesson shows what happens when one of them is missing. Without the real world, students lose interest; without the curriculum, the project doesn’t fit your syllabus; without your passion, you get tired fast. You’ll also see how to look at your curriculum as a treasure chest, not a burden, and how working with colleagues can open the door to interdisciplinary projects.
Next, two activities to find your own mix!
