Description
The Course
This self‑paced online course supports teachers in building effective, meaningful group work in their classrooms. It clarifies key concepts around collaboration and teamwork in education and guides educators through a practical, step‑by‑step path—from preparation, to discussion‑based collaboration, to productive, task‑based group work.
Participants will explore how to prepare students for group work, foster a collaborative classroom atmosphere, and gradually introduce low‑stakes cooperation activities before moving on to discussion strategies and product‑oriented tasks. The course presents a wide range of classroom‑tested activities, including team‑building exercises, discussion protocols, task‑based learning, and structured group roles.
Activities vary in length, complexity, and format, making them suitable for different age groups, subjects, and learning contexts. Teachers will be able to adapt the strategies easily to their own classroom needs and learning objectives, while supporting student accountability, communication, and shared responsibility.
